Privacy Policy

At Sharp, privacy is not an afterthought — it is a core design principle. We believe personal growth, speaking practice, and daily learning should belong entirely to you.

• No Backend Accounts: Sharp operates without remote user accounts or backend databases in v1.

• Local Progress: Your Sharpness Score, assessment answers, streak count, and completed lessons are stored strictly on your device using encrypted local storage (AsyncStorage).

• On-Device Processing: Spoken drills (Live Speaking Rep) use Apple's native Speech Framework with local execution enabled (requiresOnDeviceRecognition).

• No Voice Uploads: Voice recordings and transcripts are analyzed locally for pace, filler words, and timing. Audio data is never uploaded, stored, or sent to external servers or cloud services.

If you enable daily notifications, reminders are scheduled locally on your device using expo-notifications. Push notification servers are not utilized.

Sharp does not collect, store, track, or share any personal data, analytics, or usage telemetry. All interactions and progress remain entirely on your device.

You retain full control over your data. Selecting Reset Data in Settings instantly wipes all local application data, resetting the app to a fresh installation state.
